WE have just spent a weekend in Devon and visited Tavistock.

We agree with the letter in the paper, what can you do in an hour, not even time to visit the shops and maybe stop for lunch. My husband has a blue badge and we moved twice so that we had time to have lunch and tour the shop and Pannier Market. As for traffic wardens why can’t they employ a bit of common sense when traders are unloading. We had a business locally and our warden used to say ‘I’ll be back in 10 minutes ok’. Without the shoppers the traders bring in, the wardens wouldn’t have a job. Long may you keep your lovely town, we shall be back, but please sort the parking.
