CONGRATULATIONS to the Meadows Makeover Team!  We were thrilled to see the new playground in The Meadows and, although it is not finished, we can see that it is really well designed and has something for children of all ages.  We took one of our grandchildren to the toddler play area on Tuesday and he loved it — going on the swings, the rocking animals and exploring the climbing frame — all within a protected area.  We would like to thank everyone involved in the scheme: the fund-raisers, the builders and especially those with the original vision for pursuing it to such an excellent conclusion.
