MID Devon Pony Club tetrathletes produced some great results at the Spooners and West Dartmoor competition last weekend. Lottie Trerise was on great form in the novice juniors, with the best swim, which she followed with an outstanding run, leaving her well ahead in the class at the end of the first day. Junior girls Jessica Mortimore and Rosa Malseed had a good start with them both shooting well, Jess having a personal best shoot, which she followed up with PBs in the swim and run. The mini girls, Jessica Jeffries and Leah Williams kept up the good performances with them both swimming PBs and Leah doing brilliantly in the heat to run a PB time. On Sunday, the riding course at Sampford Spiney posed several different questions and Jess Mortimore did brilliantly to ride one of only three clear rounds in her class which took her up to a well deserved third place. Lottie put in a solid round to maintain her position and win the novice junior class, while Rosa and Jessica Jefferies both scored more than 1,000 points for their rides.
