I WOULD just like to say a big thank you to all the people who supported the fight to preserve Weir Quay, not as a living museum as some think but as a much loved beauty spot.  

Unfortunately, at this stage, we have not been totally successful, but several conditions have to be met before any work can commence.  

So, my friends, this is not over, we will continue to fight. The Hub Club might have won this battle but they haven't, as of yet, won the war.
