WEST Devon Connect's outreach surgeries will continue their special themed events during May, with the NHS Devon Stop Smoking Service and sports development projects being given pride of place.
Throughout the month, specialist stop smoking advisors will be at each of the surgeries, providing information and advice on giving up, answering any questions on the subject and also measuring carbon monoxide levels in individuals. Specialist support is free, and help will be given to access stop smoking medication on prescription.
Also featured at the May surgeries will be a number of exciting sports development and physical activity projects being hosted in the borough. West Devon Borough Council's Sports Development Officer and Activators from the 'More Active, More Often' project will be available for information.
