The pack rucked as well as they have all season providing scrum half Thompson with plenty of ball, which allowed him to demonstrate the superb service to his backs. Stand off Smith took advantage of this with an accurate exhibition of line kicking out of defence. Most of the second half was played in Brixham?s half and winger Braithewaite touched down yet again after dribbling through before picking up and crashing through the narrowest of gaps. Forwards Wheatley and Boreham showed an appetite for the hard yards whilst Vanstone showed his pace whenever he found space as well as converting the try. The final stages of the game saw the tactic of using flanker Boreham as a crash ball stand off to suck in the midfield defence before quick ball was presented to the threes. It worked well but the try line was never quite crossed. This week?s game is home to Kingsbridge.
