Small but vital improvement

I WOULD like to pass on my thanks to Devon County Council's Highway Department, and Colin Hicks from the Pixon Lane office in particular, for making alterations to the footpath surrounding Whitchurch Primary School so that it is now fully accessible.

This footpath is an essential link from Whitchurch Road into Bishopsmead and the Plymouth Road shops and new pathways into Tavistock.

Now everyone can use the path with ease after the barriers have been replaced further apart to allow the use of disability scooters.

Many thanks to all involved in this small but vital improvement!
