TO all the 'selfish', consciously or unconsciously, drivers who seem to think it is OK to travel over the speed limit in Whitchurch Rd, Tavistock. I have worked at the school crossing for more than five years now and the speeds through that area specifically are getting worse. Not only tradespeople but normal family people are completely ignoring the flashing lights and the signs that say SLOW. One child or adult knocked over and killed is one too many — by pure luck that hasn't happened, but the odds are against it not happening. Please try and slow down even if it is only for that 100 yard stretch by the school. Thank you. Gary Spicer Tavistock.
