TAVISTOCK Cricet Club held a successful six-a-side tournament in what can only be described as good weather for ducks - the players have to be congratulated for even playing!

The day was made up of six teams sponsored by local businesses, including Steve Bray Roofing, Leon Gliddon Builders, KGG Plumbing and Heating, Tavistock Devon.com, Walkers Crisps and Jo's Bar. 

The trophy and medals were sponsored by Quinn's Menswear, with owner Ian Pitts presenting the medals to winners Steve Bray Roofing, runner's up Leon Gliddon Builders.

The club would like to thank all those who took part including the sponsors along with Shaun Cleave and Simon Gliddon for their enthusiasm and hard work in organising the event.
