TAVISTCK stay top of the league with this fine win.
Rebecca Rose captained andplayed outfield this week alongside Amy Gale.
It took ten minutes of struggling against a keen Activate side for Rose to get on target. Shortly before half-time she scored again.
Activate were strong on their breaks and Shaw was outstanding in her clearances.
The second half saw a quick goal for Tavistock from Rose. Shaw began to push up and a great header to Gale saw a beautiful volley into the net.
Shaw set Rose up for her fourth goal.
After a great corner from Rose, Gale slotted home her second.
Tavistock play Efford on Saturday in their replay match to decide who wins the league.

THIS fixture between top and second placed teams was played in a great competive spirit.
Activate started the stronger and Page, Bryant and Barrett were kept busy. Activate scored their first goal quickly with a great through ball that was smashed into the net. Five minutes later Activate scored again by a similar through ball.
Shortly before half-time Davey and Honey made great runs towards goal which left the unmarked Bryant to lob a long ball towards goal and sail into the top of the net.
In the second half Tavistock were the stronger side and with Honey back in goal Davies joined midfield. A great clearance from Page saw McMullen break through to score her debut goal and the equaliser.
