TAVISTOCK and Callington firefighters were among six crews who tackled a blaze at Lifton on Sunday afternoon. One person suffered smoke inhalation after the fire spread from a hedge to a garage at Moorfield. The blaze involved 500 litres of domestic oil and crews used two sets of breathing apparatus plus two hosereels and one foam jet to extinguish it.
