TAVISTOCK Rotary Club is again encouraging runners to get their trainers on and sign up for the ladies' and men's five-mile run on July 15.
The club is organising the runs together with a children's fun run for Sunday, July 15. All runs start at the West Devon Borough Council offices in Kilworthy Park, Tavistock, where car parking and toilets will be available.
The ladies' race starts at 10am, the children's fun run at 10.10am and the men's race at 11am, which will be the start of Tavistock Lions' Carnival week.
The route for the ladies' and men's races will be from the council offices across the viaduct along the railway walk to Crease Lane, onward to Mill Hill Quarry and return to the council offices.
These are charity runs, with all proceeds going to local good causes.
The medals will be presented by the mayor of Tavistock, Anne Johnson, and her consort, Paul Johnson.
Entry and registration will be available on the day, or postal entries can be made to Rotarians Trevor Williams via email at [email protected]">[email protected] or David Tout at [email protected]">[email protected]
