Members took part in tests ranging from grade one through the more demanding syllabi up to instructors' exams.
The grades are based on side saddle riding (part one) and saddle fitting and horse care (part two). Candidates who pass the jumping phase in part one are awarded a '+' pass.
Nine candidates in total took part with everybody achieving at least one pass.
Jane Gordon, Sandra Higgins and Rowan Duke are all from the Okehampton area.
Rowan Duke became the newest instructor to the area when passing the B instructor exam. She was examined in giving a beginner an introductory lesson, an individual equitation lesson and a group jumping lesson.
The final part of the test was to give a lecturette on any subject covered by grades one to three. In the same week Rowan was invited to join the SSA Judges' Panel.
Rowan teaches from her base near Okehampton, where she has access to Side Saddle schoolmasters and a range of Side Saddles.
