A NEW fundraising manager for Plymouth, North Devon and the Tamar Valley has been appointed by Macmillan Cancer Support.

Siân Harris was until recently fundraising manager for the Sue Ryder charity in Gloucestershire but has moved back to the area she came to know during her time at the University of Plymouth where she completed a degree in social policy.

Suzie Warren, area fundraising manager – Devon and Cornwall, said: 'Siân is a valuable and welcome addition to our team based here in Launceston, particularly during this our double anniversary year.  Macmillan Cancer Support is celebrating both the centenary of its founding as well at the 21st birthday of the "World's Biggest Coffee Morning" on Friday September 30.'
