THE new film by journalist John Pilger, 'The War You Don't See', will be screened in Tavistock next week.

The film, which investigates the media's role in war reporting, from world war one to the present, includes revealing interviews with influential people as well as significant footage from war zones.

The screening will take place at the parish church centre in Plymouth Road on Tuesday, March 1. Doors open at 7.15pm and the film will start at 7.30pm. There will be a short interval for refreshments halfway through the two-hour film.

Entry is free to the evening, which has been organised by Tavistock Peace Action Group.
