THE annual dinner of Chagford Show gave Devon Air Ambulance Trust a lift, with a donation of £2,000.

The trust was selected as the show's adopted charity for 2012.

This year's Chagford Show president, Wilf Hutchings, presented the cheque from the show to Mike Date, of DAAT, at the dinner at the Fingle Bridge Inn in Drewsteignton on Friday, February 8.

The 2013 show takes place on Thursday, August 15.
