IT has been a good week for Yelverton Bowling Club. On Monday week the men played an Evening League match against Olympic. Two rinks won while the other two lost, with Yelverton ending up the winners with the greater shot difference.

Wednesday saw the ladies win a friendly triples against City Bus, with success on every rink. On Friday the ladies travelled to Saltash where they played their first league game this season. Both rinks had convincing wins.

Unfortunately the weather beat the club on Saturday and the friendly mixed match against Chagford had to be cancelled.
