A SOUTH ZEAL artist who creates pictures from wool fibre is holding her first solo exhibition in Okehampton.
Sara John, who is more well known for hat making under her trade name of Jonzi, has turned her talents to the canvas.
A selection of her work which she describes as 'art in sheep's clothing' will be on display in the Arts Gallery in Red Lion Yard from Monday.
The exhibition runs throughout the whole of December.
In her first season working as an artist, Sara's pictures have gone down extremely well with the public and she was delighted when a piece she exhibited in the Phoenix Arts Centre in Exeter sold before the preview.
The exhibition by Sara, who processes the wool from the sheep's fleece and dyes it herself, will include landscapes, seascapes, nudes and portraits.
