PRINCETOWN firefighters were called just after 3pm last Friday to Foggin Tor Quarry, near Princetown, after a sheep had got stuck on a cliff edge. Firefighters rescued the sheep by using ropes and lines, the sheep was uninjured. And Tavistock firefighters were called to College Avenue in the town just before 5pm on June 6 after a cat had become stuck up a chimney. Firefighters managed to release the pet from behind the boiler.
