SHARON Daw from West Prince Farm, Sevenstones, near Callington won what is claimed to be the toughest road race in Europe ? the Grizzly ? in a record time of 2 hours 38 minutes. The race includes bogs, pebble beach, demanding hills and cliff climbs. Having come third the last two years she was delighted to win, and beating two ladies who represent England was even more of an achievement. Sharon is having a fantastic year winning the Brown Willy race in January and having personal bests in the recent Plymouth Hoe Ten and Bideford half marathon last week.
