A SPECIAL service is being held at St John the Baptist Church in Horrabridge this Sunday as part of National Marriage Week. Newlyweds, widows, families or couples who have been married for 50 to 60 years from the Tavistock Deanery are invited to the celebration of marriage service on Sunday, February 10, organised by the local group of Mothers' Union. Couples will have the opportunity to renew and reaffirm their wedding vows during the ceremony, officiated by the Rev Geoff Lloyd. Everyone is welcome to the service on Sunday at 3pm and if they wish they can attend the branch meeting of the Mothers' Union on Wednesday, February 20. During the meeting at Yelverton Church Hall, a selection of pictures from weddings which have taken place in the Tavistock Deanery will be on display.
