WHAT a bunch of losers! Okehampton Town Council are thinking of selling off the Market Hall. How dare they even think of it! The market hall belongs to the town of Okehampton, paid for by the people of Okehampton and used by the people of Okehampton. The town council should also remember that they were elected by the people of Okehampton, also any payments made to them as councillors come from our pockets. My money, your money! The market stall holders have been there years, and yet they are told to move out every time the council wants to let it for one-day events. The farmers? market worked very well in the Charter Hall; the two markets running side by side. No way. Life?s too easy, let?s kick out the stall-holders in the market hall once a month and put the farmers in there! Oh, and while we?re at it, let?s throw in a charity fair and kick out the traders once more, they won?t mind. And now they want to sell it? Well, I?m sorry, but it?s not theirs to sell.
