THE Santa Rosa Fund held a sell-out music night at Bere Alston Parish Hall recently, when people were entertained by local band Gypsy Train with two sets of klezmer music from Eastern Europe played at weddings and other celebrations blended with American jazz.

The event was a huge success and around £850 was raised for the Fund.

All of this money will be used in Nicaragua to help improve educational opportunities and the lives of children and adults in areas where poverty is rife.
