THE Volunteer Centre in Okehampton is looking for a number of people to help out within the community.

Volunteers for the elderly are needed to talk, walk and help residents with knitting, cooking, shopping, gardening and the delivery of meals, in a domestic situation with all ages groups.

Drivers are also urgently needed for the community car service, which will include driving people to and from doctor and hospital appointments.
