THREE gardens will be open to the public this Sunday (June 28) at Crossgreen near Lifton to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Friends of local resident Jeremy Durrant, who is suffering from the disease, are holding the open gardens day from noon onwards.

The large gardens total more than three acres of interest and during the day there will be refreshments available.

The MND Association is the only national organisation in England, Wales and Northern Ireland dedicated to the support of people with MND and those who care for them.

The association funds and promotes research to understand what causes MND, how to diagnose it and how to effectively treat the condition.
