Okehampton Seconds 2 United Services 6 OKEHAMPTON started the game well with a good amount of possession. Although they found themselves two goals down in the opening quarter, they rallied and Nick Luxton beat three defenders before smashing the ball into the roof of the net. Okehampton equalised to make it two all through Jacob Lloyd, but United Services hit straight back. The hosts never gave up and pushed hard to find another equaliser and nearly got it when Mark Parsons was denied right at the end of the first half. The second half started terribly and Okehampton conceded almost straight from the hit off, a blow which effectively ended their hopes. Continuing to push, Okehampton left gaps which their opposition exploited well, scoring twice more. The home side did have their chances in the half, with Stuart Jarvis, Lloyd and Rob Hall all going close. The scoreline did not reflect Okehampton's effort and play, but did show just how far this team has progressed this season.
