DUE to a late cancellation by Torrington. Okehampton travelled to Roborough for a hastily arranged fixture.

Under ideal conditions Okehampton unusually for them started well, with Dave Wills running in an early try. Argaum replied with a penalty but from them on it was Okehampton's day.

A half-time lead of 22-3 was stretched to a convincing final score achieved with strong and elusive running, good handling and backing-up by backs and forwards.

Dave Mugglestone scored three tries, Dave Wills and Richard Drake two each and Charles Ewen one, with four conversions, but the credit should be shared by the whole team.

This weekend the seconds have two home matches with an important Merit Table clash with Tavistock on Good Friday and a friendly against Sidmouth on Easter Saturday.
