YELVERTON Bowling Club had their opening day in dry weather and sunshine.
Forty six members attended with the opening wood delivered by the president, Chris Pearn.
The weekend started with six new members and a members practice day with mens and ladies league and mixed friendly matches to follow during the summer season on weekdays and weekends.
The club meets on Thursday evenings at 5.45 pm and anyone interested, of all ages and abilities, are encouraged to go along and enjoy a wonderful social and outdoor pursuit.
