MID Devon Pony Club Tetrathletes had a magnificent end to their season, sweeping the board at two competitions within seven days.

At the Spooners Pony Club competiton at Kelly College the girls had individual success in all three age groups. Georgina Geikie won the seniors, Laura Gomersall the juniors and Vicky Medlyn the minis with the junior team of Laura and Sarah Gomersall, Jess Trerise and Ashleigh Ware also winning.

Last Saturday, the club was even more successful at the Eggesford Triathlon where they took first place individually in all four classes they entered and the three teams all won their age groups.

In the nine and under class Charlotte Rowe won with the best run and swim while newcomer Daniel Worrell won every discipline in the boys' section and with the addition of Antony Geering's and Lauren Fuller's scores the team could not be caught.

In the mini girls, Rebecca Rowe came first with Vicky Medlyn second and Katherine Manchip fourth. Scarlet Geering completed the team which comfortably beat Cornish rivals the Four Burrow Pony Club.

Ashleigh Ware, Jess Trerise and Laura and Sarah Gomersall were the succesful junior team with Laura coming first with the best shoot and Sarah second with the best run in the class.

In the senior girls Georgina Geikie made it two wins in two weeks as she posted best shoot and best run scores.

A brilliant end to a brilliant season which has the mini team being unbeaten since January, notching up nine wins on the trot while the junior girls are unbeaten on their last four outings.
