HORRABRIDGE completed their season on a high with their best away performance of the season against a team two places higher in the league who had reached the league cup final.
Kicking upfield in the first half Horrabridge came under early pressure but quickly got into their stride. After having a goal disallowed for offside they took the lead with a goal from Sam Branch.
Horrabridge went into half time with a 2-0 lead after a goal just before half time.
The second half started with Horrabridge making some positional changes and giving their substitutes a run out.
The game became very exciting with Morley reducing the deficit within the first five minutes of the restart.
However, Horrabridge were not to be denied and second half goals from Chris Hatcher (1), Jamie Hall (2) and a penalty from goalkeeper Toby Chapman gave Horrabridge an excellent 6-3 win and moved them into the top half of the table.
