I?M doing my family history, and was hoping that one of your readers may be able to help me in my search. My grandmother Pricilla Gliddon was born in Calstock on the 10/01/1863. Her parents were John Gliddon (whose father was Joseph) and Eliza Rule (whose father was James). They were married at the parish church in Okehampton in 1853. Their witnesses were James Rule and Mary Ann Rule. John and Joseph were labourers and James was a mason. Priscilla had three brothers, Vincent, John and Mark. They left for Australia on the Lady Jocelyn in 1875. If anyone has any information on any of the above family members it would be greatly appreciated.
