I?M trying to trace a lady who was very kind to me when I was a young boy. In 1947, I was at Broughton Hall School in Staffordshire. The assistant matron was a young Devonshire woman, Celia Fairbourne and although I was only 13 we were good friends. In fact, when I went on to Shrewsbury School in the summer term, Celia came over to visit me (and Michael Heseltine, yes that one!). In August that year I stayed at Ringmore, South Devon with my family. Celia invited us to visit her home at North Tawton and I remember having tea there very clearly because my father didn?t like goat?s milk in his tea! We lost contact but if any of your readers know of Celia?s whereabouts I would be so glad to meet up with her again ? after 59 years!
