scouts have helped to set up a wayside crib at St Paul's, Yelverton.
The Rev Nick Shutt, rector of West Dartmoor Benefice, said he was very grateful to Walkham Valley Scouts and their leaders for helping with what has become a local landmark at Christmas.
'The crib can be seen from the Yelverton Roundabout as people drive to and fro. It is a great reminder of the true meaning of Christmas,' said Mr Shutt.
Services in the benefice this Christmas include a crib service on December 24 at 5pm in St Paul's, Yelverton: 'It's a great opportunity for the whole family to come together for a short service to celebrate the birth of Christ.'
