ANYONE wanting to learn a new skill, exercise and have fun at the same time is being encouraged to join the Yelverton Scottish Country Dancers who meet on a Monday evening in the Yelverton War Memorial Hall.
Brenda Burt, who runs the club and has been dancing for 30 years, said there were about 20 regulars at the moment but she would like to boost that numbers and get some more younger people coming along.
'The music is lovely and it's great company,' she said. 'I have made some super friends right across the country. It is also very good exercise because it is energetic.'
