St Austell 7 Okehampton 3 WITH five players missing and a tough game against St Austell, Okehampton knew they would have to be at their best. They started the game well and created a couple of good chances, but when a move broke down St Austell counted and took the lead. Okehampton were unlucky when Simon Bourne was taken out twice. Parsons put a shot wide for Okehampton before St Austell struck twice before half-time. Okehampton rallied at the beginning of the second half, Tom Forrester went past two players before slotting the ball past the keeper. Then Simon Bourne scored a good solo run before Okehampton conceded again shortly after. However, Forrester then popped up unmarked in the area to score again, but they couldn't hold on to possession and conceded a fifth goal. As Okehampton tried to get back into the game St Austell soaked up the pressure and hit them on the counter to score twice more. In the end it was a scoreline that didn't reflect the game, but with a tough game against OPMs this week the team will have to bounce back. Man of the match: Tom Forrester.
