Okehampton U15 73 Kingsbridge U15 0 OKEHAMPTON U15s hosted Kingsbridge for the first game of the season and the first fixture between these two sides. Kingsbridge forwards held their own to start with but when the Okehampton pack settled, they were too strong in all departments. With plenty of ball the backs could cut loose. Wing Jake Chisholm scampered into the corner for the first try. Fly half, Carl Goodall, then went outside his man and beat the full-back to score. First centre Tom Browne sidestepped the centre and full-back to score, Chisholm then had his second when he cut back inside his winger to score ? all four taking the ball from outside the 22m line. The forwards then went on the attack, number eight Rob Long crashing over for two tries. Chisholm?s third try came from a loose Kingsbridge kick, taking the ball inside his own half he scored under the posts. Long scored two more split by a Goodall second and new winger Bobby Hunt scored the last try with a 30m run to the corner. Eleven tries in all, six conversions to Carl Poynton, two for Rory Honeychurch and one for Tom Richards.
