MARY Tavy and Brentor Community School is looking for a new co-opted governor.
The governors of the school, which has 62 pupils, would like an applicant with an interest in education and some experience of business or finance, said the chairman Pam Scannell.
The post involves some subcommittee work and two meetings of the governors per year. The applicant should not be a parent and does not have to come from the catchment area. The vacancy has arisen from the death of Graham Astbury. Inquiries to Pam Scannell on 01822-810838.
