FORMER pupils of Chagford Infants School gathered in the town last month to hold their annual reunion.

The old infants school used to occupy the building which is now Endacott House in Chagford, where the reunion was held.

The old infant school was closed in 1936 and the pupils were all sent to the other school further down New Street.

Pat McGlynn who attended the reunion said everyone had enjoyed the occasion, with lots of familiar faces there.

He said: ?There was a great deal of chatter about the old days and a few photos were passed around showing a crowd of kiddies plus two of their teachers ? Miss Parsons and a Miss Cole from Adley Farm.

?It was really good to look at ourselves in the crowd as well as lots of old friends who are no longer with us.?

Mr McGlynn said he was looking forward to everyone being together again at next year?s reunion.
