THE sun shone upon children and families at Whitchurch Primary School's Summer Fair last Friday.
Visitors were occupied by stalls selling a variety of wares, along with a miniature train-ride for the children, a bouncy castle, coconut shy, roll-a-penny game and a 'Beat the Goaly' game.
During the event, entertainment was provided by children from the choir, the country dancing group and the drama group, who all performed.
The fair raised more than £2,000 which will be used to help purchase iPads for the children to use.
The school hopes to buy around 30 iPads, so fundraising for this goal will continue next term.
