SHOLA, Tavistock College’s school dog (left), celebrated her first birthday at the college with some friends — both two legged and four legged. Shola, an Irish setter, made the national headlines last summer after she was bought by the college to assist vulnerable students and help with students’ reading as a listening dog. She encourages students who are anxious about entering the examination hall and is part of the animal care programme organised by teacher Helen Harris.
