A WEST Devon teacher is retiring after teaching infants for 22 years.
Mary-Jane Traber originally came on a one year contract at St Rumon's Infants School but loved her experience there and stayed for a further 21 years.
Mary has taught hundreds of children over her time at the school as a literacy co-ordinator.
She also trained many new teachers in her role as co-ordinator for the National Scitt for Outstanding Schools.
She will be greatly missed by everyone at St Rumon's and St Peter's, and they wish her a long and happy retirement.
