ST ANDREW'S Primary School will be holding a special assembly next week to celebrate the success of the Comenius School Partnership project 'Windoors to Europe'.

Mayor of Tavistock Cllr David Whitcomb and Tavistock town crier David Turner will be at the assembly, along with colleagues and pupils from the partner schools in Okehampton, Italy and Germany, parents and members of the community.

During the two-year project pupils have learned about the lives of their peers in the partner countries, engaged in activities relating to the theme of playgrounds, story writing, Christmas, the 'Same View Through the Year' and entrepreneurship using the images of windows and doors as inspiration.

Pupils from the partner schools have been able to meet and share their ideas face to face.

The assembly will take place at St Andrew's Primary School on Tuesday April 5 at 10am.
