SPRING well and truly arrived at Bere Alston on Saturday when celebrations were in the air at the annual carnival.

The regal trio in the procession were carnival queen Jenny Carr and her attendants Emma Kirby and Lauren Morris, seen here with a beautiful floral bouquet.
