A MAJOR food fair at Cotehele House in East Cornwall will be one of the peak events in a month-long initiative aimed at raising the profile of the area in the run up to Christmas. Taste South East Cornwall is being described as a ?gastro-extravaganza? and will run from November 11 to December 11. The programme of events includes special menus in restaurants, including Langmans in Callington, cooking demonstrations, workshops, wine tastings, trips to the sea, the food fair at Cotehele on November 19 and 20 and a variety of guided walks.
