THE Rotary Club of Okehampton has two events planned to support senior citizens and its local charities.

The club, in association with the Manor House Hotel and Okehampton College, is organising a tea party this month and a Christmas lunch.

The tea party will take place at Okehampton College next Tuesday, (October 21) offering senior citizens refreshments, and a great chance to socialise with people their own age.

From Monday, December 15 to Wednesday, December 17 the club will be providing Christmas lunches for senior citizens at the Ashbury Hotel at a cost of £10 per person.
