Okehampton Rotary Club has a new president.

Sarah Watts, who is a partner with local accountancy firm Thomas Westcott, is the second woman to become president of the club.

Sarah said: 'I really enjoy my Rotary. This club has a wonderful atmosphere and everyone works together to produce a club that contributes a lot, both to the local community and also internationally.'

Sarah's year in charge has started well with the club's record-breaking charity golf day, and she is looking forward to the rest of her tenure: 'All the hard work will be worth it, I am sure.

'The club has a good programme this year. It is not just about work, Rotary is also about fun as well and I am sure we will have an enjoyable year.'
