MUSIC will sound from St Eustachius Church on Saturday, July 13 as the Fellowship Band will perform an evening concert.

Salvation Army bands have been an integral part of Salvation Army worship since the Army's early days in the 1860s. The Tavistock Salvation Army band consists of six Salvation Army personnel and is augmented on occasions by Christian bands and people from local brass bands.

In 2009 a South Western Fellowship band was formed covering Devon, Cornwall and Somerset, where Salvation Army band members and other Christian brass musicians meet together for practices and to provide music at various functions throughout the year. The ages of the band members range between 50 and 86.

The Fellowship Band will perform at St Eustachius Church on July 13, at 7pm.
