WITH St Thomas at the bottom of the league the general opinion was not whether Argyle would win, but by how many goals.
But St Thomas failed to read the script and took to the field with all guns blazing. A goal from their new player-manager after just six minutes showed how dangerous they could be.
They repeated the performance five minutes later with another well worked goal.
It was expected Argyle would create a few chances, especially down the slope in the second half. But they failed to materialise and St Thomas ran out worthy winners.
