RISING rugby star Richard Bolt was part of the England team which outshone Leicester Tigers? Academy side in a training match last week. Richard from North Tawton played for England Under-19s against the young stars of one of the English game?s most distinguished clubs. The England youngsters won by eight tries to four at the game at Oval Park last Wednesday afternoon (January 11). The match was designed to help England put the training techniques they were going through during the morning into practice. The hotly-tipped back began training with Exeter Chiefs this season and has done so well he has quickly been promoted to the first team, recently making his League debut for the first XV in a game against Newbury.
