A WEST Devon school is one of nine from across the country soon to perform at the Courtyard Theatre in Stratford next month (June). Children from Milton Abbot Primary School were selected to perform, following their performance at The Wharf, Tavistock, as part of the Royal Shakespeare Company's Learning Network. The children, from Yellow class, aged between nine and 11-years old, will perform their play 'Mr Mac and the Ruler Army', a version of Macbeth based in a school, before an audience of parents and invited VIPs. The other eight schools, both primary and secondary, have also been invited to represent their learning network. Teacher Maggie Peacock, said: 'The children are extremely pleased to have been selected and are excited at the thought of performing at such a prestigious venue as the RSC.'
